THE MAGICKAL & HEALING PROPERTIES OF ROSE QUARTZ
Rose quartz is one of the stones I use most frequently and it’s a must have in every crystal collection! Rose quartz is relatively common and I’ve even found a few pieces walking through the woods in New Hampshire as a child.
Magickal Uses:
Rose quartz is an excellent stone to use in spells where the intent is to bring peace to a home or to a group of people. Place rose quartz around the home or office to encourage optimism and to dispel negativity. Rose quartz will ward off arguments and calm violent tempers.
You can also use rose quartz in spells that involve love. I have found love spells manifest faster when I’ve somehow incorporated a rose quartz! Rose quartz can help one to attract love or to become more receptive to love. If you find things are getting boring in the bedroom, place a piece of rose quartz under the mattress to help spice things up! Remember that it’s only when you love yourself that you are able to give & accept love from other people.
Healing Properties
Place a piece of rose quartz on your heart chakra during meditation to help you to release negativity, self-defeating mindsets and repressed feelings. Rose quartz helps to open your heart chakra and it encourages acceptance, self-trust, self-love, confidence and self-esteem. Placing a rose quartz on your heart chakra during meditation also helps to soothe anxiety, overcome grief, heal a “broken” heart and it comforts those who are healing from emotional/physical trauma. Rose quartz is a must have for those who are recovering from any body image disorder or for those who are survivors of physical or sexual assault. If you have a child that is dealing with bullies, have them carry or wear a rose quartz. It will help them remain self-confident in the face of adversity!
